WE PUT THE PEACH IN GEORGIA

Peach County is the youngest of all Georgia counties, carved out of Houston and Macon counties in 1924. It takes its name from the region's most famous crop and the state's most beloved symbol. It is a county steeped in history, but proudly embracing the future. With 151 square miles of beautiful countryside and incredible business opportunity, Peach County is enjoying a renaissance of growth and prosperity.

Peach County is professionally-managed, honestly governed and led by men and women with vision. With two growing cities, Byron and Fort Valley, Peach County is strategically located on Interstate Highway 75 at the geographic center of Georgia. It's an easy drive from Peach County to the world's busiest airport in Atlanta and to one of the biggest and most modern seaports in Savannah.
